Our Vienna tour included a bus tour around town as well as several stops. We were treated to a lunch in a famous cellar. After lunch we were again free to wander the city on our own and take the Ubahn back to the ship.
Vienna, the capital and largest city of Austria, is one of our very favorite cities. We had visited Vienna before in 1979 on our way to the Soviet Union, and it was lovely to visit it again.
It is known for its baroque buildings. created mostly under the rule of Empress Maria Theresia and Emperor Franz Joseph.
